Yes . . .
I never really had a honeymoon. Now, don't feel bad, because everyday is a honeymoon for us.
Icky!
Bleck!
Vomit!
Did I really just type that? Too much sugar. I don't envy the people that say this. Remember the honeymoon? Wanting to impress your new mate? Suck in the tummy, every hair in place, waking up gorgeous (all eye-gunk/make-up gone and teeth brushed), plus all the exercise. . . Whew, I'm glad those days are over. It's a lot of work to look beautiful all the time. Four years and a baby later, my tummy is a little softer, my hair never in place, I can't even wipe the eye-gunk out until after my cup of coffee, and who needs exercise (wait, I do think I need that). Even with all this and the occasional tiff with DH, we still like love one another, lumps, bumps and eye-gunk. Every relationship has obstacles in the road, it's how we get over them that really matter. Me, I choose to knit a Honeymoon Cami!
